The Power of Personal Testimony

What is the value of our work? We believe our work has eternal significance shown in the lives transformed through having a relationship with Jesus Christ. Personal testimony is a vital part of The Salvation Army. It has always been the conviction of The Salvation Army that those who have experienced life change through our programs or the salvation of Christ are called to be witnesses for him.

It continues to be the intention of The Salvation Army to maintain such a ministry of personal testimony and to see and express the joy of seeing life change.

The testimony is not an opportunity to boast of any Salvationist's progress.
The testimony is not an opportunity to praise The Salvation Army.
The testimony is an opportunity to praise God for what he has done through people and for people.
