The Greater Cleveland Salvation Army Advisory Board member, Dr. Russell Raymond of the Cleveland Clinic, went on a mission’s trip to Honduras with a team from The Salvation Army and the Cleveland Clinic, including Ohio City’s Major Zoila Hernandez. They took about $12,000 worth of medicine and met with approximately 400 people a day in 5 different villages. Major Zoila Hernandez taught young women about nursing their babies. The Raymond Foundation and Cleveland Clinic are partnering to bring to the United States 2 children for treatment for congenital heart disease.
