Utility Assistance
Times are tough. If you are facing a utility shut off, The Salvation Army may be able to help you. If you are seeking help with your natural gas, electric or water bills, we take appointments every Monday by Telephone Only. If Monday is a holiday the phone line will be open on Tuesday. The phones open at 8:30 am, and we continue to take appointments until all appointments are filled. The Utility Appointment telephone number is 419-241-2294.

Utility Assistance Instructions
You will need the following items to receive assistance with TOLEDO EDISON:
- Photo ID for all adults in the household
- Current proof of ALL household income
- Your current electric bill
- You may be asked to use the services at:
Pathway, 524 Hamilton Street - A co-payment may be required.
You will need the following items to receive assistance with COLUMBIA GAS:
- Photo ID for all adults in the household
- Current proof of ALL household income
- Your current gas bill
- You may be asked to use the services at:
Pathway, 524 Hamilton Street - A co-payment may be required.
You will need the following items to receive assistance with WATER:
- The bill MUST be in the head of household's name
- Photo ID for all adults in the household
- Current proof of ALL household income
- Your current water bill
- You must bring in the "Deposit/Turn Off Verification" form from the Department of Public Utilities.
