WHAT WE DO : FAMILY THRIFT STORES
Shop. Save. Make a difference. Purpose of our Family Thrift Stores
Whose Life Will Your Donation Transform?
Because our family thrift stores are fully operated by The Salvation Army, the proceeds go directly into our charitable work. In fact, every dollar generated by our Family Stores is used to fund our Adult Rehabilitation Centers. These centers help over 60,000 people work through various life issues each year, ultimately working to assist them in rejoining their communities as productive members.
Additionally, our stores provide thousands of employment opportunities for the general public and work therapy opportunities for people in rehabilitation to learn valuable vocational skills and regain their self-esteem.
What kind of Items Can I Donate? How much is my donation worth?
When donating clothes and household items at a staffed location, you will be immediately provided with a tax receipt of your donation for your records. To accelerate the transaction, be sure to prepare and bring an itemized list of your donation with you. View our Donation Value Guide for more details.
