NEW Coats for Kids

The Salvation Army Coats for Kids program has been keeping East Liverpool kids warm for 29 years. The 2014 coat drive ended in October, but you can still help a child in need when you give online to buy new coats. A $16 donation covers the cost of a warm winter coat for a kid in need.

Nursing Home Visitation

The Salvation Army visits nursing homes and institutions, which impacts hundreds of people and during the Christmas season. For patients who are alone and shut-in and for prisoners who are locked away, we hope to offer a beacon of light to the outside, which eases the suffering at least for a while. Volunteers are a vital part of ministry and with their support, the Army can successfully connect with those in need living in our communities.

Christmas & Thanksgiving Food Baskets

The Salvation Army of East Liverpool serves our community all year long. However, during the Christmas & Thanksgiving season it is our goal to make sure the joy of this blessed Holiday reaches every family. We provide meal baskets for a home-cooked feast, and fill stockings and packages to brighten the children’s Christmas morning.

Christmas Gifts for Children

During Christmastime, The Salvation Army's Christmas Distribution Program works to bring joy to hundreds of East Liverpool children, providing them with new clothing and toys, and the opportunity to have a happy Christmas morning. The Christmas Distribution Program focuses on fulfilling the need of new toys.
